Current Projects (2008-2009)
This year Video Press has many new exciting productions.
- Video profiles for this year's Lasker Foundation award winners; viewable on the Lasker Foundation website after the awards have been announced Sept. 11, 2008.
- We are exploring the possibility of accessing at-risk youth with health messages utilizing new technologies such as cell-phones and web 2.0 with the "Better My World" project. Funded by the Abell Foundation.
- Producing a series of PSAs encouraging families to become foster parents for the Baltimore City Department of Social Services. We will also produce educational videos for foster parents.
- A production on breast cancer health care disparities, produced in collaboration with Dr. Renee Royak-Schaler.
- Video Press is partnering with the School of Medicine Office of Development to produce a video program on the new Center for Advanced Fetal Care.
