Under the direction of Academy Award® winning producer, Susan Hannah Hadary, the University of Maryland Video Press has evolved into a premier health specialty video production facility in the Baltimore-Washington area, now known as MedSchool Maryland Productions. Our clients range from cable networks such as HBO and Discovery, to faculty professors with grant funding and a vision. Recognizing our clients needs to utilize web-based technologies, Video Press is pleased to develop basic web sites to feature video productions or post video on designated platforms.  No longer are your messages confined to one-time presentations, limited broadcast, or a few DVDs; with web-ready video for your website, iTunes compatable videopodcasts and YouTube-ready content production, sharing your messages on-demand 24/7 with your audience could not be easier.

Recent Projects

In the past couple of years MedSchool Maryland Productions (Video Press) has created many productions including:

• Video-profiled the 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011 Lasker Foundation award winners. These videos are currently viewable on the Lasker Foundation website.
• With our innovative pilot, www.bettermyworld.org,  Video Press demonstrated the potential of  a web based video model to access city youth utilizing emerging digital technologies. Funded by the Abell Foundation.
• Produced a series of PSAs encouraging families to become foster parents for the Baltimore City Department of Social Services. We also produced four educational videos for foster parents.
• Strategies for Health after Breast Cancer, a production on breast cancer health care disparities, produced in collaboration with Dr. Renee Royak-Schaler.
• In collaboration with the School of Medicine Office of Development, Video Press produced a video to launch the new Center for Advanced Fetal Care.
