1. Can I get a free preview?
   While we do not offer free previews of our programs in total, we do offer short clips of most of our programs online. If you need to see the whole program before purchasing, you are welcome to rent the video for up to four weeks at the cost of $75. If you decide that you would like to purchase that video (or any other video in our catalog), the rental fee will be deducted from the purchase price.
2. I want to rent a video for a specific play-date, can I order now and have it shipped later?
   Absolutely! Just be sure to indicate on your order the date you want the video delivered by. If you are ordering online you can add this note in the "other contacts" box on your order submission form or contact us by e-mail, fax or phone.
3. I need a video right away; can you send it over-night shipping?
   Express shipping within the United States is available at the additional cost of $30 for next-day air or $20 for second-day air. However, to be sure your order is processed immediately, you must call our office (1-800-328-7450. Monday-Friday, 9AM-4PM EST) before placing your order.
4. How do I purchase a program that I have rented?
   Call our office at: 1-800-328-7450. Of course, the rental fee is deducted from the purchase price, so you will only need to pay the balance. You may then keep the rented video, or return it for a new copy at no extra charge.
5. I can't get the video clips to play on the website, what do I do?
   Our video clips require Flash Player 8.0 or later installed in your browser to play correctly. You can download the Flash Player plugin for free at http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/. If you have additional problems, please contact our office.
6. Do you provide digital versions of your videos?
   We understand the needs of educators are changing and while we do not currently offer digital versions of our videos, a special digital license agreement is available. For information on obtaining a digital license please call our office at: 1-800-328-7450.
7. Do you offer discounts for non-profit or government organizations?
   While we do not offer discounts based on the nature of any client's organization, we do have sales periodically that are available to everyone. To find out about our current special offers visit our special offers page or subscribe to our news feed.
8. Can I place an order and have you bill me?
   Video Press accepts Purchase Orders (PO), however, all Purchase Orders MUST BE FAXED to (410)706-8471.
9. Do I need to purchase a separate license for public performance?
   The prices for the programs listed on this website (both rental and purchase) include a license for public performance without charge. Appropriate performance uses include educational institution classrooms or events, in-service training sessions and conference presentations. Closed-circuit transmission, limited to a single building or geographically-unified campus, is also permissible. Organizations may be non-profit or for-profit, but you may not charge individuals for a specific performance of Video Press materials. For more information, please call or e-mail our office.
10. Do you issue Continuing Education Credits (CEC)?
    Our videos are used in continuing education, staff development and college courses across the United States and Canada. However, Video Press does not issue continuing education credits directly.
11. Can I suggest a topic for future production?
    Suggestions for training topics are always welcome and should be e-mailed to videopressmail@som.umaryland.edu. We are also pleased to develop production budgets and work with clients on specific projects.
