This program documents the vivid realities of a long-term care environment from the perspectives of two nursing assistants. As they provide basic care, they demonstrate positive attitudes and caring for all residents, making a special effort with dementia residents exhibiting combative and aggressive behaviors. Note: Staff address residents by first name and with the Baltimore acceptable saluation "hon" (short for "honey").
